I have downloaded the biscornu pattern of snowflakes by Faby Reilly Designs as my first ever attempt at making a biscornu. I have a question, though. Do I stitch the square pattern once or multiple times. the pattern does not seem to say. It also does not tell me how to assemble it when the stitching is done. However, I see there are tutorials on this site which will help me with that. I really just want to know how many times I stitch the pattern? Please and Thanks!

I have done this one hun - but I changed the colours to use up some odd threads in my stash. You stitch the same square twice hun - so the top is the same as the bottom. What I did was changed the pattern slightly as I stitched the bottom, but this is entirely up to you. I also used a snowflake button to finish it off. When you have stitched both squares, try and follow this tutorial HEREOr there is Aisles tutorial HEREJust remember that we are whip stitching through the backstitched border not the actual fabric.

If it's easier Helen - for your first attempt - don't stuff it. Just try whip stitching the actual borders together - you can always stuff your next one - if this helps.
It can get a bit fiddly when the stuffing is in there and it's the actual shape that makes a biscornu - you can always add some tassels to it or something decorative and turn it into a fob instead.
Just an idea.

Thanks for your advice....When I get around to stitching it together, I see what seems to work. I would like to stuff it if I could, but if it proves too tricky I take your advice! Thanks!
