Hi Bubblers,
Have we made a start on our Biscornu's for January yet?
I'm starting mine when the kids are back at school and the house gets back to some kind of normality! I also need the table and mine has been dominated by my son so he can build his Lego and Technics kits he got for Christmas. Needless to say I'll be glad for the space, lol!
We will be posting our finishes on the last day of the month (every month) into the Bubbler's Biscornu Basket Gallery in the Group Gallery board (just under the main Gallery). I look forward to seeing our creations!
Remember if you need any help or advice, please don't struggle. I will post more detailed instructions if needed and they're are lots of Youtube video's that you might find useful as well.
Happy stitching!

I have started mine and am hoping to finish the first square today with some embellishments. I am also hoping to get the second square started as I don't go to work today!

Yes I've started mine, I've already had to undo a bit as doing on even weave and ended up stitching a piece half a stitch out Away for 10 days camping shortly but will get onto it again when I get home and hopefully will have finished by the end of the month

I have now finished stitching mine and just need to put it all together. I need to find something pretty to put in the centre too.

Good luck with the assembling hun. Just take your time and make sure both squares are lined up exactly before you begin stitching - trying to unpick it will prove very difficult and most annoying!
I would recommend using a standard button for your first - not one with a shank. Just keep bringing the needle back and fourth through both buttons - pulling the thread a little each time.
Best to use a stronger thread than your cross stitch thread - I use sewing machine thread, but some peeps use nylon thread or some even use dental floss, lol.

They are lovely ladies! Fabulous finishes!
I haven't even had a chance to think about biscornu's still trying to finish these humbugs and may put them in instead. I'd love to try a needleroll with pulled threads, but it's always so busy around here, why can't I ever stay caught up on Hwork?

Well done Shelia, it's lovely. I love those bottons - really gives it that finishing touch!
Trixter, I love those needlerolls too - I keep saying I will do one myself - if only to find the time!
