ive the Hunger games on my e-reader, so no DGD hasnt read them as it would be like chopping my arm off getting the reader away from me, however her other grandparents are getting her a net book or something like that so she will be able to get books on that im not techno minded but if she cant i was thinking about getting her a kindle
You must read the Alex cross books but try and get them in sequence, also JD Robb Eve Dallas series, also a must from book one...
JD Robb is aka Nora Roberts, if memory serves me right.
i still buy books for all ive the reader, got 4 on sunday oops i did spend yesterday there was a 2nd hand table full of books for dontations, so got some murder/mystery ones.
got this thing tho... cant be doing with hard backed books. prefer paperbacks. once in Waterstones this lady was signing books, got chatting to her and shes from round my way Sheila Quigley so i do have a signed copy (hardbacked) of one of her books.. im waffling on now.. so off to read my new crafting mag thats just arrived.

Ann, I still buy proper books even though I've an ereader as well. Some it is because I collect (and read of course!) that particular author, some it is because there are many instances where the proper book is cheaper than the electronic version. Which is absolutely ridiculous, but what can you do?

im very fortunate my friend who recommended this iriver e-reader to me over 3 years ago is a whizz kid and gets all the books free from diff places and either e-mails them to me or puts them on my sd cards ive got 2 and i honestly dont think i will ever ever read them all.
infact i thought it was playing up on Friday and was asking her on an alternative but after a full charge up overnight it seems to be ok now phew.... i need it when i go away next weekend..
i have a stack of paperbacks waiting to be read as on f.book there are some local selling places and the books are just so cheap infact sometimes free i cant help myself, i pass the read ones onto a friend then they go to a charity shop

Oh, I've read nearly all the proper books I own - except for a few. I have one shelf that has been designated as my "to-be-read" shelf. I have a favourite bookstore, but it is a bit out of the way for me to get there. So when I go, I tend to buy a lot at once, so I needed a spot to put my unread books. I have more than usual at the moment as they had a sale in the summer I took advantage of, and I've been reading a lot less with having to do coursework.

Have just had a new Agatha Raisin audiobook delivered, have ordered 3 more as they have a discount. Only good thing about the football season is that OH feels guilty and pays for them while I am stitching.
Am reading a book about 4 women SOE agents during the war. This ties up some ends from other books I did a study on.
Not sure if I mentioned listening to short stories by Alexander McCall Smith. These are oral stories passed down through families. They are read by the same person who does the Precious Ramotswe books of his.
