Into the fifth month of the year just don't know where the time has gone. I'm still making progress with stash reduction despite purchasing a unicorn kit and the gingerbread cottages still coming along at one per month. I've down into the very last quarter of the wedding sampler now - charted out the last of the wording yesterday so need to get them stitched and then the bottom border. I want to change the butterflies at the bottom for cat faces as my niece loves cats so I need to rummage in the bottom of the wardrobe as I know there is a suitable chart in there somewhere. Just hope that I don't get side tracked and start reading the magazines again. Hope everyone else is making progress as well.

I purchased a couple of charts last month - offers going on Ebay - some fabby and a couple of threads.
As for stitching I've barely done any at all, hoping May also brings my stitchy bug back. I have almost finished a glasses case for my daughter, just waiting on a thread and beads to arrive so I can get it assembled.
Lol, good luck Joan finding that chart - be sure not to be tempted by any new starts while looking for it!!

I've not done much stitching this month either - been reading a fair bit. But that does tend to be normal for me - I have several hobbies and I do whatever one strickes my fancy! I have made quite a bit of progress on one piece, and some small bits of progress on both BAPS. I did buy some stamp stash this month, but it wasn't really "stash" per se, since it was mostly some paper colours I was almost out of and some stamp cases as I am in the process of purging & re-organizing. I do however, have three charts sitting in a cart in an online shop, though I have yet to press the buy button.........

But also came across a small kit of an ice cream van that has really taken my eye - may even have put a few stitches in it! lol

I've made some progress with my Peace Snowflakes, as well as some progress on both BAPs (BAP piccies in the BAP section of the board). I'm close enough to the finish on the Snowflake piece I am getting anxious to finish. There are supposed to be a lot of random blue stitches in the Peace section, but they are far enough apart/random enough that carrying the thread across the back, because I have used a fine evenweave, would be very visible. There are far too many for me to want to go to the effort of the pin stitch, and I don't really want to have to solidly stich the section in white. At the moment, I am going to just leave them off altogether. I am vaguely toying with the idea of getting some invisible thread for beading and using beads, but just not sure.

Not doing very well with my stash reduction although I have been stitching cards with fabric and threads from my stash. There just aren't enough hours in the day to stitch everything I want to get done!!

Hope you suss it out LadyA, it looks really nice. I used a nylon invisible thread a few days ago on a design - I can say it's not the easiest of threads to use and I suggest tying it on to the eye of your needle using a loop knot - it's not a thread I will use a lot of that's for sure.
Good luck with that though.
I've done some more on the JE dragon this month and I did some on the woodland enchantress so they are both coming along, albeit quite slowly, lol.

Lovely job on the peace snowflakes - doesn't need the random stitches in the peace section.
