Well, halfway through the year! How are you doing with your craft goals for the year? I have made some progress on most of my pieces, will hopefully manage to get some pics posted in the next couple of days.

No finishes in June but the second wedding picture is almost done now - need to chart out the wording and will try to do that tomorrow. I've not gained any stash this month so that is good news!

I finished my sea unicorns, would post a pic but can't seem to find "post image" any more? I have the fabric to make them into a wall hanging so will do that soon. I also made a start on another HAED yesterday called Impossible Love, it's been kitted for a few years as it was the first chart of theirs that I bought but it got superseded by others.

The Post Image as had to be disabled for the time being hun. It was linked to PostImage, but since they upgraded their website, my code for it here no longer works! If you just nip to PostImage and upload your image there, you can attach it here by pasting the direct link into the "insert picture" option when you create your post. ((Identified by the landscape picture)). PostImage
Look forward to seeing the sea unicorns - it's a gorgeous design! Can't believe how quickly you've finished it. Just googled your new start - another lovely choice! Hope you manage to add piccies.

Finished my Ice Cream Van last night - was not on my list for the year but it's a finish! And one out of my stash! Yah, well done on your finish hun - love it by the way! It's still stash reduction hun - I have about 4 on the go that I didn't even think of starting this year and two unexpected ones started that I just had to do, lol. I really must start focusing on just one at a time as I'm getting a bit overwhelmed!

Still on UFOs, one of which is about 2012 (Japanese Lady to make up a pair). I haven't started anything this year although I do have two small ones to take with me if I go into hospital or have a long treatment period. Feel very ashamed when I read of how others are getting on.

No need to be ashamed Patricia - no comparison to others is necessary. The point of the group is purely to get us stitching, and to think about working on those projects languishing in a drawer somewhere. Some peeps have more time to stitch that others. It isn't about quantity and what everyone else is doing, but about setting some goals for yourself, and bringing back out those projects that caught your eye and interested you enough to have bought & started them. I have one project on my stash reduction list that my goal is to get 1 page of the pattern stitched over the course of the whole year. And if I get that done, I'll be happy! At that rate, this thing will take me years to stitch, but I know that is a realistic goal for me this year, because of all the other things I have on the go (falling off the wagon & buying and starting new pieces isn't helpng my cause either!). If Sheila were stitching that same piece, she'd probably be done by now! But I'm not Sheila (though I much admire her stitching!), I'm me, and this is what works and is realistic for me.

Finished this last night. I have already done this design years ago as part of a kit, but I decided to do it again as I gave the last one away. Used threads and fabby from my stash. It's supposed to be stitched on Aida, but I tried even-weave this time round. I usually give my old charts away, but when it comes to Tatty Ted, I usually keep them as I love stitching these designs - and my daughter is mad on him too, so it's nice to be able to come back to them now and then. Sorry for the blurry pic.
