I forgot to add her eyelashes during construction and my stitching needs to be a bit neater, but the construction of the doll is really simple. Her nose and mouth are actually darker than the photo, nose in Satin Stitch, mouth done in Backstitch. Her eyes are small doll/teddy safety eyes.
The rest of her is a combination of whip stitch and blanket stitch.
She also has a bonnet and cape, but the cape has some cute little ears that I have yet to attach, so I'll update the piccie when they are done.
Her feet aren't perfect either, but I know what I did wrong, so my next one should be neater.
I know the ribbon is too large, but she is only a practice piece just to get a feel for how she goes together and to practise blanket stitch which I haven't had much use for up until now. The felt isn't the best either, I much prefer wool felt, but it's more expensive so I've saved that for my next one.
I was struggling to find some nice yarn for her hair, this one is just a cheap acrylic wool, but I thought about trying fake hair for the next one - I've picked up some cheap extensions off Ebay in some gorgeous colours, so eager to try them - just keep running out of time!
