Her jeans are made from an old denim shirt, socks from a pair of old socks, lol and her boomers and underskirt are made from a pillowcase. The doll her self is made from a bed sheet.
The doll is my own design, as are all her clothes through trial and error and lots of YouTube videos, lol!
Her face is hand painted with acrylic paint and a little blusher for her cheeks.
Most of her is made from supplies I already had lying at the bottom of the stash pile, so the only expense was toy stuffing and a little fabric for her top and dress.
Her hair is made from felting wool and has been needle felted into her head which is loads better then sewing on wool or crochet cotton and looks more natural and super soft, lol. It could do with styling a little better than I have shown here, but needle felting is something new for me and I just wanted to see if the tutorial I watched is as good as the end result - and I can say it is and is quite secure to my surprise! There's almost 20g of wool used, but it is quite thick and I could have used less, but for my first attempt I'm quite happy with her.
She's fantastic and I love how you've used recycled fabric. There are some lovely vintage sheets and pillowcase's out there that can be re made into to lovely items. I'm always on the look out for vintage sheets and pillowcases.
