Success in that my dwarf beans are flowing, flower buds about to open on some of the flower seeds I planted in them, Radish have been harvested and consumed and very nice they were too
Now I have my two 'Washing up Bowl Hanging Towers' all working nicely. The bowls cost £1 each from Wilkingsons. I made drainage holes in the bottom of 6 and kept 2 as 'Water Catchers' they still on the floor or on a stand to catch the water as it drips from the bottom bowl in the hanging tower. You then reuse that water to water again later.
I used black tie wraps on one and string on the other. I also have garden wire which I'm yet to test. I only have 2 brackets so only 2 hanging towers however seeing how well they're working I think I'm going to invest in a few more hanging brackets and good strong long wall plugs and screws.
I have Courgettes, Mixed Flowers, Celery and Petty Pans in them, all grow from seed, so much cheaper than buying plug plants.
