Hi Bubblers,
I was wondering if anyone had any spare charts from mags that they don't need or won't stitch small designs.
Anything cute, flowers, xmas, gifts...that sort of thing.
Something that will fit cards, xmas and gift tags, or small items such as small boxes, keyrings,etc...
Willing to swap for charts ( I have loads), threads, fabby or crafty bits you may need.
Kelly...x

Thanks sweetie.
I don't use Pinterest hun. It's okay if your just looking for ideas and inspiration but when it comes to charts and downloads I steer clear. Not only is it confusing knowing what is free and what is copyrighted, but it's also the source of those downloads I question, as sometimes you can accidentally piggyback on a malicious script and before you know it you're PC is riddled with malware.
I'll stick to physical charts that I know are safe! Unless they are from a proper online shop of course.
Thanks for taking the time to look hun...x

Been awhile since I've been to either's website, but both Lucie Heaton and Maria Diaz used to offer a few small charts as freebies on their websites. I think Stoney Creek does as well. You might try checking out designers' websites, as it has been my experience that quite a few of them offer a couple of small freebie charts.

I have some old Cross Stitch Card shop mags that I don't need as they don't have the charts that I like to do in them - I only tend to do animals and naturey type things. They are from around 2008 - 2012. I stopped buying mags for a while because my partner became ill and I couldn't really get into town to buy them and at that time we had little money for buying a subscription. I'll take a look through them and send you a list of the issues. You do have to be careful downloading charts - I only get them from the World of Cross Stitching's site and shops like etsy. (You still have to be careful on etsy though because some people just convert photos and pictures to charts and sell them on there, rather than designing the chart themselves.)

Thanks Bilbo, that would be lovely hun.
I've seen some of those photo conversions, they never show the "mock" picture of what it would look like in stitches, just the poster they used for the conversion, lol. I have loads of charts, but they are all large designs, I'm in the process of sorted through them, but it's slow going. I have quite a few animal and nature ones as I too focus mainly on these type of design, so perhaps a swap if I have anything you like...x

Kelly - another blog with a Christmas freebie. I've not found a way to search her blog to see if she has other freebies offered, short of scrolling through every blog post. But this seems to be a nice one - options to do it as a whole piece, or do the pieces individually, and also for a monochrome look or a multi-colour version. chezelisa.over-blog.com/2018/11/noel-2018.html

Lesley Teare has some nice free charts in her blog. I've downloaded a few of them in the past.
