Here's what this shop will look like if you haven't seen these in the mag yet.
Not really much to see yet, but I'd thought I'd post my latest project, lol
Not used to working on so much fabric, and it's proving awkward. It's over 40 inches in length, so any tips on how you would work with that much fabric would be greatly appreciated! I'm using a hoop at the moment and I've just kinda folded up the remaining fabric, but it's proving to be a pain at times, lol.
I tend to use roller frames now a days for exactly this reason . I've one that's a lap frame type and a big floor frame as I found it's also easier to roll along as you completing and only have the fabric out that you need so doesn't get too grubby if working on a while too. Plus on a frame I tend to find it helps with my hands too and generally quicker cos you got both hands free to stitch.

Stitch- A-Long- Twelve days of Christmas by Joan Elliot
As Julie say when I had a big project I used my roller frame not one of my hand held ones as they tend to be a bit too much for the wrist.
I have a floor standing roll frame so much easier and to keep everything clean I recycled a old bed sheet ie cut it smaller gave it a new sewn hem. Then used it to cover my frame so dust and dirt didn't get onto the stitching.
I too use roller frames, but 47 inches of fabric length ways isn't realistic to put on a frame, even if I had one that size I haven't the room for it! I think I've finally come up with a solution anyway - not the most conventional way of using a frame, but if it works what the heck, lol.
Basically I've turned the stand to face me and rolled up the rest of the fabric which is held in place by model making clips, lol. Will see how it goes tonight!
