I also prefer photos of finishes, but this picture is 40cm x 40cm, so the old girl needs a few supporting words on the way to the finish. Does not look impressive, but it involves crosses in 1 and 2 strands, half crosses in one strand, most colours are 50 shades of biege. So you imagine.  |

This will be beautiful when done. I don't envy you all those shades of beige.... not to mention all the different types of stitches. Good luck! It will certainly be impressive when finished!

No, there will be no more dogs or ducks in this picture, only the lake, hectares of the sky (in very light blue half stitch in one strand) and the grass.

I too agree, what a gorgeous project. It sounds so detailed too, it will certainly be worth all the time you put into it, the finish will be truly stunning.

I do like the texture difference using a mix of crosses & half-crosses gives. I think it often really adds to the design in these landscape-type pictures.
