Well after seeing how you all deciding to do different stitch a longs I've decided to do one now too. After getting my christmas stuff off Kelly all those cottons got sorted and I decided to use some of my other stash to do Joan Elliott's twelve days of Christmas. I thought if I stitched one line of the song every month by Christmas it should be completed -what do you think ?

Oh wow, what a design! So detailed. Yep, just been through my xmas charts and I did save this one. It must have caught my eye, then forgot about it, lol - I do that so often!
I'll stitch this with you. I'll get my threads together tonight and see what fabric I have in the stash.

Well, I've got the fabby, threads and the gold seed beads all in my stash, so I've cut the fabby to size ready, it just needs attaching to my roller frame.
I think once the borders and main title is done, the rest should stitch up pretty quickly.
Are we starting the SAL straight away or the start of Feb?

well it's meant to take 8wks to stitch but I'm going to start as soon as fabric arrives so I'd say next week now .so If you want to get started by all means do as think like you its the border/arch that will take more time than the numbered ones but if you like we can show a pic every month to show how far we got.

That's a lovely project! there's a lot of border but the smaller pictures should stitch up quite quickly. I'll be watching your progress with interest.

I've made a new thread for the 12 days SAL. I've also made all our ongoing SALS sticky so they are easier to find. I saw this design today, Julie I thought you'd be interested as I know you love JE designs and Xmas:-
