Am I the only one that this happened to I hope not..................?
last night I decided to start a new kit and did about two hours stitching when I realised I'd repeated three extra lines and so had to unpick about an hour and a half's stitching I could have kicked myself. I thought I was doing so well too and so easy to stitch.
please tell me I'm not the only one to do this I felt such a fool especially as I'd checked about 4 times.

All of us have made errors and had to frog it all! It is frustrating and drives us crazy, BUT we still love stitching and always return to it!! Don't be hard on yourself...it is a normal part of our hobby!

I was out one thread on my blackwork tonight and had to frog the whole thing because the error was at the beginning, (of course,) and I was halfway through the square when I realized the threads did not match up. So the whole thing was off.... Grrrrrrr!
In my case no project can be stitched without frogging at the very beginning. With LED lamps I cannot stitch light grey and light yellow colours in the evening as shades look different to what they are in the sun light. As for the 3 extra lines, I do like them, as they make going from one page to another easier. But there are charts where you just cant cope with those extra lines- I had a problem with the latest design until I realized that one page had 4 extras, while only 3 were repeated. Had to frog twice in the same place!
I certainly have done that. One of my worst was when I did one that went round in a circle. You have guessed right. It didn't meet. Recently I did two evenings stitching a sky. Because the dot is usually white Silly me assumed it would be white on this chart. Ofcourse not it was pale blue. I should have known. Skies aren't white are they?. Have to say that my aim for the bin was very good
