As you know I lost my Shep in January 2020 of 18 years. I didn't have his ashes, so instead I made this box and filled it with photos of him, his collar, a packet of forget-me-not seeds and a poem. He was such a gentle soul, so loving, playful and loyal. I have lost a very dear friend and he will be greatly missed. It's broke my heart to make this box, but I know I will be grateful that I did when the pain of his absence becomes bearable and I can look back on this and see his photos and remember his funny, crazy little ways and his playful attitude.

That is such a lovely way to remember him, it does get easier but I still miss my ‘two boys’.

What a wonderful idea. I have one or two photos of my previous 2 dogs and one of the cats.
