Craftystitcher - I hope you are ok after tour tumble. I also work for one of the big British supermarkets. I have managed to 'escape' this Christmas as I am on maternity leave. Had to work during first lockdown and my anxiety was going through the roof as it was so manic and people weren't socially distancing. There were several times I ended up pressed up against the shelves trying to get away from them. I was 6 months pregnant when we first went into lockdown and didn't go on maternity leave until I was just over 8 months pregnant. So I had a very obvious pregnancy bump but didn't stop them getting close enough that I wondered if they were trying to get in there with the baby.
Kelly - your doctors surgery is shocking. How difficilt is it to check the document you are attaching is the correct one before sending it. Kylle did really well doing that phone call on his own. My brother has autism, amongst other things so I know how people with autism can struggle doing things which to other people might seem an easy thing to do.
We will be going to my parents for christmas day. They have both tested negative for covid. They had to have a covid done before they were allowed to bring my brother home from his care home. Care home would only allow him home if they tested negative. I'm planning on making some gingerbread tomorrow, then I can take some with me on christmas day as my brother loves my gingerbread. Emilia will be able to leave some mext to her little Christmas sack tomorrow for Santa possibly with a rum and coke I hear Santa likes that drink coincidentally so does Emilia's dad so fortunately we do already have some rum.
Well we are going into tier 4 on boxing day. I'm currently not sure if OH will still be working or not. If not I might get to do a bit more stitching as OH will be home to help look after Emilia so we will ne able to take it in turns to do our own thing.

Hope you are feeling no ill effects from the tumble craftystitcher! Kelly, you should look into the regulations. I can tell you that here, if a doctor's surgery sent Patient A's records to Patient B, they would be very clearly in violation of regulations, and either patient would be well within their rights to report them to the governing body (College of Physicians here). I have to walk through the car park of a group of shops to get from the office to the bus station. It was absolutely insane there today (including some morons who had pulled their vehicles completely up on the pedestrian walkway, forcing me and others to walk in the road!), with line ups outside many shops. I've never seen it that busy to be honest. I had to pop into the pharmacy for a few bits on my lunch hour (kind of can't do without deodorant or a toothbrush!) and not only was the shop crazy busy, I was shocked at how many shelves were empty or areas/spaces that were empty. I've never seen so many gaps/empty spaces at the pharmacy before. Getting too cold here to be lining up outside a shop for long. Was something like -7 today, and that was without the windchill. I did notice last week that a couple of shops have put up some protective barriers for shoppers to line up under. But I will hopefully get my click &collect order done on the weekend or early next week and then be able to avoid the shops altogether for a couple weeks. Finish at noon tomorrow, and then am on vacation until the new year. Looking forward to a few days off. Definitely have things around the house that need sorting out, and I am hoping to get in some stitching time. Would really like to get Soffia finished before the end of the year.

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope that Santa has bought you all crafty goodies as presents don't count as stash enhancement!
Kelly - hope that you are feeling better now and that the surgery has sorted out your meds. You sometimes feel a bit strange with new tablets while your body adjusts but no wonder you felt so poorly with someone else's prescription. I hope that you get an apology at least - don't hold your breath though as I had no joy with my surgery after the "you are OK" text message followed by the arrival of a letter with a hospital appointment - they could not understand how upset I was at all.
LadyA - fall off the wagon with wool etc if you wish -it has been a rubbish year and you deserve a treat or two!
Craftystitcher - hope that you are OK after your tumble and that you can now relax after the manic conditions at work.

Merry Christmas everyone!
OH picked up my new meds yesterday hopefully these ones do the trick. I did take my BP this morning and it's come down significantly since yesterday.
I want to thank my secret Santa for the gifts, and everyone who has sent me little somethings in their cards. I feel blessed to have such wonderful bubble friends.
I hope you all are having as good a Christmas as you can make it, and I hope you're unwrapping some new stash! Be sure to post a picture, we'll all love to see!

Am always so sad on Boxing Day, since Christmas has come and gone. I do love all the lead up and anticipation to Christmas. I love the decorations, the music, picking out presents and all that goes along with it. But, have had a very enjoyable Christmas. Came to my parents' (they are my bubble household) on Christmas Eve, and have had a couple of days of good food and good company. A nice relaxing day today - will spend it playing online, reading, stitching, visiting, watching tv, and eating leftovers.

Lady Anemone, come to Ukraine for Christmas. To begin with, we have (officially) two Christmasses- yesterday's and the Orthodox one which lasts for 3 days(7, 8, 9 January). January 7 is also an official holiday(off work).
