In answer to Mmarg, yes I will do a border. I am thinking of doing the first one - the simplest one as I think that would look best. Some of the others would take away from the blackwork of the design as they are quite busy and intricate. (My opinion.)
I am thinking this one would make a lovely cushion....so right now that is my plan. (It can always change as it will take a year to stitch!)

How's everyone going with theirs?
I have to say not done much blackwork before but I'm really enjoying giving this a go. The colours so far are just up my street too though I'm looking forward to seeing a few more different colours coming in soon too.
Anneliese have you done as you planned previous yr with this new yr?

Yes Julie, I’m managing to keep up with this years sal, and I’ve done up to week 41 in last years so making progress. Depending on how my week’s going I try and do a block or two each week on the 2020 one.
I enjoy the Blackwork too, some blocks are certainly easier to stitch, and flow better than others, but they all look lovely
I've seen quite a few of these on PP's facebook page, and a lot of gone mad with the borders. Yours is spot on, not too much going on that it takes away from the overall design. Looking forward to seeing this come together.
